The Bulgarian company Essentica joined The European Renewable Ethanol Industry Association (ePURE) in August 2014. Full ePURE membership allows the company to actively participate in decision-making processes regarding EU regulations of the industry. The membership in the Association is recognition of the fact that Essentica is part of the huge European family of ethanol producers and a main player on the market in South-Eastern Europe.

The Association's main goal is to set the course of development of the industry and to create and implement socially important projects and innovations in Europe and worldwide. The Association represents the interests of its members before the European institutions and participates in the discussion of European policies regarding ethanol production and use.
